Enjoying the whistle of the train in the valley below, the sights of the farms, the Eagles, the constant mountain breeze, peace and quiet is only one part of the experience. Eagles Perch (named after the Bald and Golden Eagles that soar over the valley) is located just minutes from De Soto Falls and hiking trails and 30 min. to Cloudland and Little River Canyons. Extensive hiking trails and numerous waterfalls and rivers surround the area.
Eagles Perch is beautifully appointed with your comfort and pleasure in mind. The oversized front porch offers a bed swing to relax and unwind, hand made rocking chairs and a dining table for coffee or meals anytime of the day. Most especially to enjoy the incredible sunsets! A new hot tub and relaxation zone with Solo smokeless fire pit! NOTE: Hot tub can be heated for an optional $20/night; guests must request prior to arrival. A hammock beckons you to read your favorite book, take that long awaited nap, or stare into the sky watching the clouds fly by and maybe spot a bald Eagle or Giant Woodpeckers!
As you enter the cabin, you'll take in the exposed wood walls, vaulted beamed ceilings and designer decor home making guests feel cozy and welcomed. The comfy couch is perfect for watching TV or enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fire in our unique fire stove. The open kitchen design allows for great space where the cook is part of the activities and can see the beautiful views.

With the integrity of a log cabin and beautiful decor and design elements throughout the home that assure that you will fall in love and return year after year. Eagles Perch has 2 bedrooms (one king and one queen), a loft with a full bed and 2 full bathrooms including one with a deep footed soaker tub. Up to 8 adults can be accommodated with the addition of two full futon sleepers. Eagles Perch affords guests the most beautiful and sought after long range views of 3 states atop Lookout Mountain in Mentone.
Guest will love the new Spa Hot tub! Features an ECO PURE sanitizing system. The hot tub is on the mountains edge and guests love soaking under the canopy of stars, watching a mountain sunset and listen to the train whistle in the valley below.
